Unzip it and keep the ig_tracker_crx folder

Load the extension in Chrome

Open chrome://extensions (paste it in Chrome's address bar and hit Enter)
Turn on Developer mode
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder (ig_tracker_crx from step 1)

Confirm it installed

Find IG Tracker in the extensions list
Make sure the version is v1.2.0 or newer

If you previously installed IG Tracker from the Chrome Web Store, you may see two IG Tracker extensions. The one with a version below v1.2.0 is the old store copy — remove it and keep the newer one.
